Another fantastic result for the Trialstar team riders at the 9th round of the Ulster Championship at the weekend.

Mcclurg takes first win on new TRS

Great weekend for OHA Motorsport Trialstar rider Stuart Mcclurg who took the win at the 6th round of the Irish Trials Championship in Kilbride wood just outside Dublin.

The TRS motorcycles UK rider rode his own trial all day after making the early decision to lead from the front and split away from the rest of the expert elite riders.

It was a very close run event with fellow OHA Trialstar rider Josh Hanlon battling it out all day with both rider’s matching each others score at the end of the day.

It was Mcclurg who would eventually take the win with most cleans. This is Stuart’s first Irish championship event since joining the TRS brand and the confidence he has gained from the new bike is simply incredible.

Mcclurg said, “I decided to take off early and ride my own trial with no pressure from other riders. I’ve only rode the new bike twice and although I’m still familiarising myself with the bike I feel totally at home on it. I’m delighted to take my first championship round win since 2020 and look forward to the next round.”
